Enjoy it, and stay in balance

The games here are free and use virtual credits, but any game can take more of your time than you meant to give it. These suggestions can help you stay in charge.

What this is, and what it is not

Cloudz Leisure is entertainment, not gambling. It offers free social games to adults aged 18 or over in the UK. Real money is never involved: there are no deposits, no withdrawals and no prizes to win. The credits are virtual and have no cash value. Doing well in a free game tells you nothing about how you would get on gambling for real money, and the games are not practice for it.

Looking after your play

  • Decide on a time limit first. Choose how long you want to play before you start. The visit timer in the footer shows how long you have been on the site, and a friendly reminder appears every 30 minutes.
  • Take regular breaks. Stand up, stretch, drink some water and give your eyes a rest by looking at something far away.
  • Play for fun. If you notice that stress, loneliness or low mood is what pulls you towards playing, talk to someone you trust.
  • Keep real life first. Sleep, work, study, family and friends come before any game.
  • Do not chase losses. Playing to “win something back”, in a free game or anywhere else, is a signal to stop.
  • Use your device’s tools. Phones, tablets and computers have built-in screen-time limits you can turn on.

Signs it may be time to step back

  • You often play for longer than you planned, or find it hard to stop.
  • You feel irritable or restless when you are unable to play.
  • Gaming is affecting your sleep, work, studies or relationships.
  • How games make you feel is nudging you towards gambling with real money, or towards spending money you cannot afford to lose.
  • You hide how much time you spend playing from the people close to you.

Need a break, or want to leave? Visit Support and choose “Take a break”, “Restrict my account” or “Delete my account”. You can also delete your account yourself, straight away, from My account. Simply closing the tab is fine as well, as we will never chase you with offers.
